Casper the Friendly Ghost Costume
Wearing a Casper the Friendly Ghost costume will surely not frighten anyone but it is guaranteed to raise great big smiles of admiration. Why? Because out of all the ghost costumes out there, the Casper ghost costumes are, by far, the most adorable, the most endearing and the sweetest.
So, yes! Some ghosts can be friendly. And here at our ghost friendly site you will find a wide selection of both, the sweet and friendly ghost costumes as well as the bone chilling and bloodcurdling scary ones. However, do keep in mind that all our ghost Halloween costumes have a few things in common: they are all of the highest quality, they are all priced low to sell quickly and they are all suitable for adult men, sexy & plus size women as well as teen, toddler and baby infant boys and girls.
We welcome you to Ghost Costumes.org and we hope that you can stay here for a while. But let us begin your visit with a quick look at one of our favorites:
Casper the Friendly Ghost Infant Halloween Costume
(Available in sizes to fit little children of up to 24 months of age).
It is soft, it is comfy and it is precious!
The adorable Casper the Friendly Ghost Infant Halloween Costume consists of a long sleeved and long pant white jumpsuit that features ribbed blue trimming around the neck, the wrists and the ankles and a matching cap.
There is an image of Casper the Friendly Ghost wearing a bright red apron printed on the chest, an image of a bright red patch with blue stitching printed on one leg and the word “Boo!” in blue printed on the other leg.
All the “Boo” cries in the world will not bring on fear of this friendly ghost but we must give him (or her) credit for trying.
It is interesting to note that although most of us perceived Casper to be a little tyke of a friendly ghost, but the fact is that he has been around since he was created by Seymour Reit and Joe Oriolo in the late 1930s.
Casper was created in the late 1930s by Seymour Reit who concocted the idea of the character and Joe Oriolo who immortalized it with illustrations. Casper the Friendly Ghost was given a place of residence beside a gravestone.
You might wonder who Casper was before he became a ghost and I’ll be happy to share what I know about it. Casper whose family name was McFadden was a little boy living in New York City where the winters can be quite harsh. And so, one winter Casper stayed out too long sledding, caught pneumonia and died.
When Casper first became a ghost he scared an awful lot of people but eventually got tired of it and decided to befriend them instead. Thus, he became whom we all know and love: Casper the Friendly Ghost.
